Greg has dedicated his career to advancing economic data and analysis of the space sector – to better measure, track and understand its dynamics of change, growing sphere of influence and benefits deriving from its advancing capabilities.
An expert in market intelligence, industry analytics, socioeconomic impact assessments, and investment appraisal, his innovative methods provide valued insights and trusted advice to decision-makers across the sector. He has led 150+ commissioned studies for leading industry players (Inmarsat-Viasat, Eutelsat-OneWeb, ThalesAlenia Space, AAC-Clyde Space, ClearSpace, Astroscale, Rolls-Royce) and space agencies (ESA, EUSPA, UKSA, NOSA, EI). His experience spans the full value chain: from tech dev, launch, advanced manufacturing, ISAM, operations, tech transfer, satellite applications and their expansive spillovers on Earth. A respected thought leader, he regularly speaks at events and provides commentary on the rapidly evolving space economy in the media (FT, BBC, Bloomberg, Guardian, New Scientist).
Previously, Greg was Divisional Director of Space at London Economics (2006-19). He holds an M.Sc. in Economics, an M.A. and B.A. in Economics & Business from Trinity College Dublin.
