The UK Space Agency's North Star Metric - the principal metric by which UKSA measures its success - seeks to monitor the value of investment and income UKSA brings into the UK space sector. know.space were commissioned to support in the collation, collection and reporting of North Star Metric data, finding evidence of links between Agency funding and new investment and revenues across all programme areas.

know.space were commissioned to support UKSA in the collation, collection and reporting of North Star Metric data. The scope for this study included all relevant national programmes and selected European Space Agency (ESA) programmes, and used a mix of primary and secondary research to collect evidence on Metric impacts. It is an exploratory study and represents the first comprehensive effort to measure North Star Metric outcomes across UKSA.
